Who better to tell our story than our people? Last year, we have organised a photography contest called “This is Us” designed for the people of Norstar to showcase our creativity and our interpretation of being a part of Norstar.

We are pleased to share that we have received fantastic submissions from our crew and shore staff. They have truly showcased the essence of Norstar by incorporating our values, our people, our vessels, and our environment in their photographs.

The entries were judged based on three criteria:

• Theme Interpretation – How well the photo interpreted the theme “This is Us” (50%)
• Creativity – Originality, and uniqueness of the subjects captured (25%)
• Technicality – Lighting, focus, depth of field (25%)

After much discussion, the judges agreed that the winner of the “This Is Us” photo competition is Captain Wunna Htut from MT Denko Bright. Congratulations! Selected photos are also featured on our website so do check them out!
