Crew Management
Our crew are the most important people in our company and safety has always been our number one priority. This priority drives Norstar’s superior service level, safety record and operational performance. We prioritise the mental and physical well-being of our crew as well as their family ashore. We implement a holistic range of wellness programs and initiatives on a continual basiss. Present examples include Well@Sea and Marine Benefits which Norstar introduced to its crew pool in Myanmar in 2021 and 2016 respectively.
Over the years, we have successfully cultivated a strong and unified team of seafarers managed by our competent shore support staff. We source, train, and manage a diversified group of seafarers from Myanmar, India, the Philippines, and Indonesia. This allows us to provide a pool of highly trained and competent crew suited for your vessel’s needs. Norstar arranges 2 crew seminars a year in addition to regular training and safety forums.
